I have been riding for a couple of years now but still consider myself a novice, really don't get out anywhere near enough. Anyway I have a 2013 Ronix One and while I know its a good board I was watching a video someone took of me and it really doesn't seem like I am getting much more height than I used to on an LF Omega. Sometimes it feels like I get really good pop but its not every time.
Also, when I go for grabs I don't feel as though I have any extra hang time, if anything I feel like I have less time because I tend to wait until I am in the air and settled before going for a grab but by that stage I am on my way back down.
My main question is should I stick it out with the Ronix and try to develop to the point where I can really use it or should I step it back a little and go for something less abrupt. It seems that nearly all the pro's are riding 3 stage boards, most pretty aggressive rocker lines too and while I know I am never going pro, if I am really going to get the most out of wakeboarding is that the direction I should be following. Also I only ride behind a fairly small wake
