WAKE WORLD HOME

This page is like the bulletin board by the front door at your favorite wake spot. When WakeWorld members update their profile, create an event, start a poll, make new friends or list something in the classifieds, you'll see it here first.
WakeWorld Website Re-Launch - March 1, 2010
Getting Registered/Logged In
If you had an account in the old WakeWorld Discussion Board, that account information has been transferred to this system. You should be able to use your email to request a new password (passwords are encrypted so we couldn't bring them over). That way you will carry on with your old account which has your name, post count, sign up date, etc. Go here to request a new password for your account: http://www.wakeworld.com/lostpass.php.

If you weren't a registered member of the old discussion board, but you'd like to get involved with the new WakeWorld WakeSpace community, get your account set up at http://www.wakeworld.com/signup.php.

WakeWorld Points Store
WakeWorld Points are our way of rewarding you for the time you spend on WakeWorld. To score points, start by at least adding a photo to your profile and then build from there. Next, add content that's valuable to the community, leave comments and share articles via your social networks. The more you do, the more points you'll log. We'll be tweaking the way points are earned as we learn more about what type of activities bring the most value to the community. Visit the store at http://www.wakeworld.com/store/.

Once you log at least 200 points, you'll be able to go shopping in the WakeWorld Points Store. Not only can you buy WakeWorld gear, but you can grab goods brought to you by CWB Board Co., Liquid Force, Tommy's, Monster Tower, Monster Energy, Nautiques, OnlyInboards.com and more.

New Classifieds System
I've brought over our makeshift Classifieds from the old discussion board. However, they will all be closed threads and you won't be able to add anything new to that section. You can follow the menu links above to find our new Classifieds, so use those from now on. I'm just leaving the "old" ones in place for a month or two so that people can easily cut and past their ads into the new Classifieds if they want to.

Come to think of it, I had an 08 XLV, and I had the exact bad ground looping right from the factory. The first week I had the new boat, I threw in an isolator alike the one above and never had one problem after that. I was always surprised a c...

[QUOTE=trayson;1907417]Isn't it true that if you can get the grounds the same for the deck, the EQ, and the phone charger, then it'd be better? Like hardwiring the car charger to the boat and making sure the ground of the 420 is the same as the g...

Wow. It's safe to drink, won't harm humans, you can drink an entire quart with no problems. Oh wait, me, no, never, you have to be an idiot to drink that stuff. Not that it's bad for you or anything, but ummmm, I gotta go. Sounds legit.

Hey now, I'm only recently turned 30, I can still listen to dubstep :p I think what we talked about, that you found the in boats were turned all the way down on the 420, so we were really only hearing the tower speakers. With that, it could eas...

I'm going to second David's comments. It is definitely voltage issues. I had that same amp in my last boat the the a/b portion would cut out before the d side. The PPI I'm not as sure about. What is your battery setup?

DavidAnalog made a post in this thread: Tower and cabin speakers cutting out, sub still playing
Giving this another thought, it just about has to be voltage related even though that may seem a bit improbable. But more improbable may be an event by any other cause that includes four different signal paths including L & R tower + L & R in-boat...
