the roast beef grab by some is considered taboo, or not cool.
but i saw something ive never seen before, it was a poked shifty with roast beef grab.
so the back of the board and grab was on the boat side of the rider. looked insanely stylish and tweaked. and more importantly it was something that i had never seen before but really loved the way it looked!
anyone know of any pics or vids of this move?

Here are a few. I call them chicken salads, but they're kind of the same idea.

Those are great pics Travis. If memory serves, chicken salad is where you twist your wrist like Travis and Josh are doing (your palm is facing down). Roast beef is where you don't twist your wrist and your palm is facing up.

Uncool? Hell no, try it... It's not the easiest grab to get at first! I say Chicken Salad to BS 180.

I'm a little confused here, partly because now I want some Arby's, and partly because I'm not seeing a difference between these grabs. Is it just the way your off arm is twisted when grabbing?

Jordan, in Ryan's pictures, those are a roast beef grab. In order for them to be a chicken salad, his hand would have to flip around counter-clockwise 360* and grab in the same spot on the board. I know it sounds really confusing, but ultimately it is just a difference in the way your arm is twisted while grabbing, like you said.

Not a fan of many between the legs grabs, especially when they make you look like a contortionist, but I used to do RB batwings that just felt better than when I'd grab them indy
