ive ridden my watson hybrid for almost a year now (cable only) ive notice that the board is flattened already, it lost its rocker....its like riding on a plyboard... but still on good shape.. no cracks whatsoever..
does anybody here have a experience same like mine??
yeah, On flex boards the rocker is built into the board partly with tension in the wood and glass when it's laid up, so as the board looses it's rigidity, that rocker will flatten off. But a year is a pretty long life for a cable board!
This thing doesn't happened with Slingshot! Just ride a real flex board, not a soft board who feel like a dead board for me! We ride SS since the first year and the shape never changed! Liquid Force got great stuff but I never been impressed with the Watson hybrid. The last year Watson boot wasn't that good to with their inside soles always moving away! One of my friend rode this set up last year and this year, he switched to SS.
