Andy, I was wondering the same thing. I'm surprised that more 10's haven't been done of the double up outside of Rusty at the comps. It seems like a number of riders have thrown them down multiple times out free riding, I wonder who else will put down the double up 10 at a competition this year.

how much weight in the boat? Was a double up even needed ? aka if you have 5000lbs in an x-star isn't it like hitting a double up?

No way. Weighting the crap out of your boat doesn't compare to a double up. Part of the reason double ups are so effective is that they increase both the height of the crest, but also the depth of the trough. I'm sorry but no slammed boat can compare to a really good double up. That being said, regardless of the ballast, landing a wake to wake 10 is one hell of an accomplishment!!!
