So I have always wanted to live on a lake, what are the best lakes in Oregon to ride? Don't really need to be close to a big city but would like to live on the lake with a dock... Any input is greatly appreciated...

Thanks

I'm kind of interested in hearing about some nice oregon lakes as well, I'm afraid Norcal isn't going to be what it is in a few years and will gradually be moving more and more North as the years go by.

If you want to live on the water in Oregon and have a dock, your best bet is the Willamette River. It's where most of us locals ride. Most of the lakes in Oregon don't have homes on the water (at least not the ones I've been to).

Here are a few listings so you get an idea of what it looks like and how much it costs:

If you don't mind slumming it there is Lake Oswego

Actually water front homes in Oregon are pretty limited

You can always go to the trailer at my home lake, Fern Ridge Res near Eugene - yeee haw ! There are cheap pads there and plenty of mud colored water. Actually not too bad if you ask me.
