its a 2000. Does it throw a decent wake or is it more for skiers?

Total ski boat, throws no wake.

that's claimed as one of the best slalom boats ever. Wouldn't get it for wakeboarding, but it is a sweet boat! I agree with 2000, or early 2000's model at least. Forget when that graphic year was.

2000 or 2001. The price should reflect the 5.0 engine. They were not installed in too many boats, but they sure drop the price of them because of it. I wouldnt worry too much about the HP output difference though. As for boarding, I would pass. Get a slightly older sport for the same price.

how do you know the price?

As A-dub said on all counts...

One of the best slalom boats ever, designed to produce no wake. Would be OK to pull early beginner wakeboarders but there is very little wake to jump.

Older slalom boats or less technical slalom boats will be better for wakeboarding. From a skier's perspective, it would be a shame to put a tower on that boat. Would not mind having it for slalom along with my wakeboard boat for boarding...

Double check on the motor. Often sellers list the wrong motor, most of those boats came with the GT-40. But the absence of speakers and the blank where perfect pass should be so these things tell me that it was a stripped model so it may very well have the 5.0L motor. The 5.0L works fine for 95% of the needs for skiers but it's far from ideal for anybody planning to load a boat for wakeboarding.

I never said I did. I just mentioned that with that particular motor, it should be priced better than a comperable GT40 motor. That being said, sports are more expensive for a given year, hence steering towards an older one would net a boat in the same price range as a more current, lower priced to begin with boat.

I fail to see what knowing the price of this particular boat has to do with what I said, but there is your explanation.

"Get a slightly older sport for the same price"

I thought I had missed the price somewhere. Just wondering
