I have an 01 SAN and run 2500-3000lbs in it. I was in the same position last week and was set on the 856 until I called ACME. I ended up with the 1236. CALL ACME and talk to them. The guy I talked to was very cool and talked me through all the options. He told me the 856 was the prop to get 3 years ago, but they have come very far in the last couple of years and now the most advanced props they have for that boat are the 1236 and 1464. He told me the that the 856 was a great prop but these were better. The 1464 is more aggressive than the 1236 but I went with the 1236 because he said the performance improvements would be so great over the stock prop I have on my 01 SAN. I just got the prop and could not get my old prop off at the lake this weekend, so did not have a chance to test it out, but should have it on soon. Call ACME before you buy to get their input.
