I ride the Covin. My other boards previously had all been 3-Stage rockers because I loved the ability to get that vertical snap off of the wake, but I felt I was limited to getting out to the flats because they weren't fast enough. So when my 06 Premier busted, I got the 07 Covin (for a steal), and loved it right away. When you start to cut in, the board literally digs in and tries to take off for the wake which I loved. The speed on this board is excellent, and it's because of that speed that the bottom is very simple and flat because it carries so much forward momentum into the flats, which has kept those landings out there pretty easy on the knees for me. I also found after a few rides, that I could adjust my cut in, and get more air vertically wake to wake than i could with my Premier. The board is great, the pop is big, but it's still controlled to the point where I'm comfortable just leaning back and flying into the wake knowing how the take off will be and just about how high my arc off the wake will be. I love this board.
