We are in the market for an 07/08 Mastercraft X-Star. Just curious to see what other folks have been paying for these before I start shooting out offers. I have a pretty good idea of what other people may be paying and what they are worth, but I just want to compare my thoughts against some real numbers. If you don't feel like posting publicly, please feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for all the replies, I will check them out. I am more interested to hear from someone who has recently purchased one and what they may have paid for it if they don't mind sharing. (Message edited by jmuthafnp on February 10, 2009)

We won't get to pick it up until probably the end of March, so as soon as I have some pix I will post them up. Pro-Tour Red and White and loaded up pretty good. Would have loved to get the LY6, but couldn't swing it, so I got the MCX. MCX will be perfect for us since we will not be running a whole lot of weight in it. Kind of crazy on how it worked out, I was shopping for used one and end up with a brand new one. Nick - If you are looking to seriously buy one PM me and I will share all of the details.

Re prop the MCX and you'll be fine. By the way, it's an X Star, you have to ride it with a lot of extra weight.

Buy new from a Mastercraft dealer. They are offering 25K back after three years of ownership. A brand new boat at the Atlanta boat show was 75K. That's 50K after the rebate!!

Before taking Jason's word for it, go ahead and read the thread regarding Mastercraft's "rebate" program. I'm not saying it's bad, there is just a whole lot more than meets the eye. Congrats on your purchase!!
