Does anyone know where I can get that photo of Chad doing the Indie Glide over that party barge that is in the new Wakeboard Magazine? I want to email it to my brother, I did a search but came up with nothing.

How and the world does he try and land that on flat water. Can't imagine the impact.

The impact must be brutal. The crazy thing is that Chad is one of the few pros who has not had a major knee injury. I remember reading an interview with him where he said he thought this was due to the fact that he uses very stiff bindings.

uhhhh... hate to break it to Chad but stiff bindings saves ankles and usually destroys knees. A stiff binding keeps your leg up and down so if you go out the back, your lower leg cant go with you. Look at watson, he wears stiff boots and look at all the knee problems hes had. Its pick your poison, save your ankles or save your knees

Chad explained to me the concept for the ramp last summer. Instead of building a kicker-style ramp, this was more of a ski jump. Apparently the boat speed and direction played a big part in lessening the impact on the landing. I think he said the boat would actually be turning away from him while he's in the air and that would somehow decrease the impact.

That's one of the coolest shots ever! Joey Meddock took it. Chad was telling me that the kicker was 8 or so feet tall, 10 or so wide, and 20 something long. WOW!! He hit it at 26mph. WHOA NELLY!
