What's up, everybody!?! I've been getting some pressure to get off my butt and edit some of the footage I shot at the NWWF this year. Work has been a killer, so I haven't had much time. Until now. All it took was Daren mentioning my life may be in danger if I didn't get with it. Turns out, I respond pretty well to threats... so here you go: It's not the full on, super dope video I have in mind... it's more like an appetizer. A compilation of a few of the moments and moves I shot both in Pateros, and over on Lake Roosevelt that week. LINK: Enjoy! Rich

Thanks Rich, that was sweet. I think the hardest part of the trip is wearing sweat shirts in the Hawaii heat.

Yep cool video! I really hate it though that we kept getting hassled about bringing home illegal pineapples from there.

Yeah fellas, I think the video came together okay. Even if we did have to fight those offshore Hawaiian breezes. Gotta say, having some stellar riding on there made it a lot of fun to cut. Turned out be a kind of fun weekend for me. As for the deep water starts... I've already dropped 30lbs since Pateros, so let's hope by next year, I can make some real progress.

Ah Hah! I hope you know my Spawning Salmon is licensed and a proprietary move. You disgrace the move with the stiff lower body anyhow. My lawyer will be contacting you Jakober.

Cliff - I had to throw in Jakobers Spawning Salmon... that was one of my favorite moves. Next year I'll be sure to get you on video showing us how it's supposed to be done. Patrick - The song is Fatboy Slim - Wonderful Night

Rich, that was awesome! Thanks a lot for putting it together. I think you will live to edit another video. Jason, it's not worth dealing with Cliff's legal department, just stick to the switch fashion-salmon to revert.

Rich - that was awesome. Much better than the junk we normally pull together. Thanks. Personally I like Jakober's version especially with the 180 after the spawn so he's headed back downtream. LOL!

"Personally I like Jakober's version especially with the 180 after the spawn so he's headed back downtream. LOL!" Been there... in like 2002. Notice during his feable attempt he's got his head pointing down? A salmon throws it's head high gasping for air with a thorough flailing motion throughout it's entire body. Did I see any of that expression in Jason's move... NO! My "Quad Spawn" is far superior in both technique and degree of difficulty. Just ask Darren how easy it is to emulate my moves. Next year I will be rolling out the "Roaming Salmon". A move that will bring the Spawn to it's all time apex thus pushing "Wake Dance" even further into the realm of extreme!

A couple people have asked for an iPhone version of the video. I created one. If you want it, let me know and I'll email it you. Also, if anyone needs it, I made a "radio edit" of it so's you can show it to your kids without the f-bombs in the song. Available upon request. Rich

Rich, You and I need to get together about next year. I've got a theme for a vid that I've been thinking of for the past couple years.
