New 08 MC 40th for $78,000 Is it a good deal?

Found a new MC 40th for 78,000, looking to trade in my 04 X2 for it, but was wondering if it is a good deal? Says it has every option! What do you think?

Yeah mine is up for 82k with pro tour ballast, wetsounds/ subs etc with ly6

I have wetsounds on mine now! Should I leave the factory speakers on the tower or keep my wetsounds? Says he can do a better price if I don't want the factory speakers. I have also been looking at the 07 PWT edition Star's. I like them just as good and they are about 12,000 cheaper now. Don't know which way to go, I think the 40th is a pretty good deal though

The 08' X-star 40th's were going for $86K fully loaded at the winter boat show here in Seattle in February, you decide.

I would get the 07 if it has the big motor still. Cheaper....same boat

I would stay away from the factory tower speakers, while the JL's are great speakers you can do better for less than half the price with aftermarket pro-audio.

Definitely stay away from the factory tower speakers. They are almost a $4000 MSRP (don't get me wrong i know a lot of dealers make deals on them) option providing 2 of the 4 cans have lights. Either way for what you will spend on them you can easily buy a set of wetsounds (in case you sell the ones you have with your current boat) which are only a million times better than any stock speakers.

As far as which boat, i would give the 07 a closer look as like Jarrod said it is the same boat for cheaper and i would think the dealer would also be able to make a better deal on it.
