So what is the difference between the CWB Absolute 141 Platinum and CWB Absolute 141? I see weight is a little different, price and color. Is there a different material used between the two?

Wrong forum, but yes, the cores are different.

Josh, there's a big difference, but most people wouldn't be able to tell.

The Platinum is lighter and stiffer. For me they pop harder and also land a little harder.

Well when it show's up I will be back to the CWB family! I used to ride the Area 51 and been Hyperlite since then. I went non platinum, you can't beat brand new shipped to your door for $170. Thanks guy's!

Right on... You'll be stoked. I've ridden both the Platty and non and like them both. The Platty's got that huge boost off the wake. They feel very snappy. The non-Platty is super smooth and land great. You can't go wrong with either.
