I have a 99' Supra Launch with a 350 CID Indmar. I have to replace the fuel injectors in my boat. Does anyone know what pound injectors these engines call for? The guy at Indmar was of no assistance at all. I may have to call them back and ask again, but thought I would see if you guys may know. Thanks for the help.

Whats wrong with your injectors? Are you positive its them? Usually you can replace one instead of all of them.

You need guidance from Supra or the engine manufacturer. The EEC is calibrated for a certain size injector, so you need to match it exactly. Usually in automotive applications the injectors are color coded. I would take one off and see what you can learn from it. Injectors are pretty easy to remove and reinstall. Be sure to evacuate any fuel pressure in the rails before you take it apart or you will get sprayed with gasoline. Good luck on it.

What is the symptom?

Injectors are expensive and rarely need replacement in such short run times. They can also be flushed to clear any contaminants.

This is where a master tech separates themselves from a grease monkey. Using a labscope you can current ramp the injectors and also look at the wave form pattern on the negative trigger side. Maybe even performing a fuel pressure drop test to confirm the specific problem injector.

Fuel pumps fail all the time and again a current ramp test along with a fuel pressure test can tell it's condition.
