anyone ever adjusted their strut? if so do you have any tips. i was gonna try to adjust it before i bought a new one

What do you mean by adjust, bend it back into alignment?

Buy a new one before it costs you a new shaft or more $.02

I'd say the shaft is probably bent also. It would be dang near impossible to get it true again, even with a new shaft. Your better of replacing everything that needs to be.

Yep mine is in the shop now I hit a log bent the strut and shaft

I would not try to bend it back just replace it like Tigemike said when the strut is bent usually so is the shaft
