What would you rather have an 2003 super air nautique 210 team series or an 2005 mobius xlv(moomba)? Which wake do you think is bigger?

I would take the 03 210, but I am a little bias!!
The wake is bigger/steeper behind the 210.

Let me show you some pictures from a friend and I doubling behind an XLV a few weeks ago. I have been behind several 210's, and many other boats in my long time as a wakeboarder, and never have I seen a bigger wake than this.

I felt like I was hitting a double up every time.

By the way: those are pink shirts and green short shorts. "What is love?" was blaring from the Wet Sounds, and it was in front of a crowd at an INT event, lol.

I have ridden behind both. 210 is steeper and more pop. The XLV is more soft and rampy, it all depends on what you like. Now as far as the resale and trade value. Hands down 210 will be a better pick if you do not plan to keep it but a few years.

agreed with Chris on the resale for sure. I'm not a fan of the 210 wake, but then again i've never spent much time behind one. XLV wasn't too bad stock weight, definitely softer, but fixed with extra weight. Just test ride them both, but the 210 would be a better "investment"

DEfinatley test ride them both. I know for sure we ahd to weight my bros. down allot to get a BIG wake, still rampy and soft. The 210 less weght and morepop steeper wake. Like Kyle says, TEST RIDE THEM BOTH FOR A DAY AND THEN DECIDE what you like

Since your profile says you have the nautique, are you looking for a pat on the back or validation? I'll be the dick and say Moomba. Your boat sucks.

Here are some other factors that differentiate these boats. The XLV is a far roomier boat with a prop rotation that will make a nice surf wave on the reg foot side, the 210 in that year will have a better goofy foot wave due to prop rotation. The 210 does not require a lot of weight to make a nice wake - see thread from a week or 2 ago about most efficient hulls.

The XLV wake is more beginner friendly. Landing short on a 210 table is more punishing but many advanced rider prefer the hit on a steep 210 wake, but still a matter of preference in the end.

If you have big crews without a lot of advanced riders, the XLV might be a better fit. If you have small crews of decent riders and want to spend a little less on gas, advantage 210. Both are good boats but are a good bit different.

you guys are talking a lot about the wake, which is obviously an important part of the decision...but you also have to consider boat quality. I'm not disparaging Moomba at all, they make a nice boat, but the quality of Nautique is really top notch.

We've had our '02 SAN for 5 years now, and we couldn't be happier with it...great wake, great quality, and bonus for me...I surf goofy!

It's simple 210! You cant go wrong with it.

210, without a doubt

How can you compare these two boats, you can fit nearly twice as many people in the XLV. With more weight the XLV will produce a bigger wake and still have storage room. The 210 will have bags all over the floor. If room isn't an issue at all go for the 210.
