I want to get some riding pics from a tube in front of the rider but I dont have a waterproof camera. I was wondering if anyone knew any tricks to not ruin the camera... I thought about putting it in a ziplock and rubberbanding it tight around the shutter.. I will use an old camera so Im not that worried about it but just thought I would hear everyone out here.. Thanks!!

You're gonna have to be pretty creative to find a cheap way to get quality pics from a tube. They have some relatively cheap point and shoot digitals that are waterproof. That will probably be the cheapest route, unless you can figure out a way to make a waterproof case. Good luck, definitely not trying to discourage you. It would be cool to see something new

Look up Ewa-Marine, you can get a bag that seals up and has a lens area. If you are shooting a SLR its a bastard to adjust your camera settings. I've got the U-AZ thats been used 3 times that I could part with pretty cheap.

we did it recently without a waterproof camera from the tube.. and the driver just had to be very careful... we only pulled in straight lines and idled on the turns.... it was a really wide tube that never got the photographer wet
