I have the same boat and I currently have mine set up like you except 2 400's in rear for wakeboarding. Now for surfing empty one in the rear depending on which side we are surfing, and another 400 on the seat of the side we're surfing. I wakeboard with the wake plate 1/3-1/2 way down, and surf with the wake plate all the way up. With the wake plate all the way up makes the wake steep, but lowering the wake plate will town it down.

I have the 400lb rear tanks on my LSV the center 400lb bag and 300lb's hidden in the bow. I took it out for the first time last weekend and all I can say is wow.... Bang for the buck Moomba rocks. I was looking at other boats and checking the wakes and I thought mine was as big or bigger than some of the high dollar boats. I think you could add even more weight to it if you wanted to but the wake looked great to me.

Throw a bag up front and you'll be in business. It will make a big difference for you.

Have you guys needed to change the prop out due to lack of power with the weight- I heard that this is something that might need to be done? Paul- so for surfing you have 800 on the side your surfing on plus the ski locker full?

Yes 800 for surfing plus ski locker. Also if you put a little more up front you will make your surf wake longer. I also changed my prop I called skier to skier and they recommend using OJ 4 Blade XMP EDGE Prop 14 - 14.5" Nibral. Wow what a difference it make getting on plane.

9.5 to 11 mph depending on the rider and wake shape

Last year I had an 07 LSV... I put 2 750lb bags in the rear lockers (perfect fit) and all three of the stock bags up front. We took the two standard rear 400lb sacs out of the back and filled one in the walkway (above stock front) then filled the other stock rear above the one in the walkway but as close to the nose as possible. This gave us about 1200 up front and 1500 in the back. The wake was huge, but you had to go about 23-24 mph in order to run that much as well as have the wakeplate about 75% down. For surfing, we left one of the 750s on the port side, and then filled the other 750 on the seat in front of it (over ice chest) and then put a 400 next to it on the floor and filled the stock front. The surf wave is massive and you will sink it to the rub rail. You will definitely want the wakeboard prop for this though.

IF you run 750s in rear, you'll need people or extra bag up front. I normally fill my 750s up a bout 2/3 way for most wake trips, but today, I forgot it was on and filled all way up.. got a little rear heavy and started porpoising...

Nick- when you filled the bags up that were in the seating areas, did you you an exterior pump to fill them up?

Yes, when I bought the 750's I also bought the Tsunami pump with them. I just changed out the fittings from the stock bags to the new ones. And yes, if you fill up the 750's in the back, you HAVE TO HAVE additional weight up front. Either a 1000lb triangle up there, or both of the stock rears stacked in the walkway. As far up as you can get them. If you do go this route, I promise the wake will be huge.

anyone know if the ProX bow sack that goes under the front seats will fit? It holds 750lbs and would probably be perfect. I want everything hidden in my boat, I don't like having to deal with sacks out in the boat.

You can put it there, but it will not be anywhere close to 750 I think. There is just not enough real estate under there. The Moomba LSV really needs weight up front, and without a playpen bow (like the XLV) it just won't be hidden.

You can buy the play pen cushion that goes in the middle. I have a strait line large block under it...150lb.
