when using a ski rope does it make u off balance when u are in the air and because more falls than with a spectra rope?also, people on my other forum at wakeboarder.com say that it is better to have a spectra rope for safety and i don't get why?

thanks in advance

well one reason is that a spectra is a non stretch rope while a ski rope is a stretch rope, if your loading the line hard when you pop off the wake you will get pulled forward into an extremely uncomfortable landing

When you load a spectra line, you will get a consistent takeoff on your jumps. Basically you are in control of your body position leaving the wake as opposed to the rope pulling you towards the boat after you leave the wake.
