So, my roommates stuff got jacked again. Twice in two and a half weeks. He put some older subs and amps in to replace his stuff that got stolen on July 3rd ( http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/472805.html?1184075912, http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/1/471518.html?1184020811). 3 other boats got broken into on our docks as well. So effing ridiculous! I'll post a description of the equipment that got stolen, once I get the info.

Dude, what is going on over there? Have you guys spoke with the apt. complex about beefing up security? Maybe some extra lighting and motion sensors.

jay, You should figure out a way to put a double re-coil trap in his boat, or a bear trap. Bait him with a new stereo system then have the trap hidden on the boat somewhere, under a towel or something.

I think its a great idea too except if you injured someone that way in this country they could probably sue you even though they were trespassing and/or stealing

you think we could get in trouble if someone was on my boat, stealing? we could say we don't know how it got there. heck, the thief put it there so we would injure ourselves, and his dumb @$$ accidentally stepped in it.

Jay, im from woodbury, no thefts here knock on wood...shoot me a pm or email if we can ever be of any help in my area here. P.S. LOVE the profile pic, not just the ratio and of course the boat but how the water curls right under your X-star decal just perfectly...

The traps would be a mess with all the blood and could create legal liability issues. Now you wouldn't have legal problems if I was on the jury, but you know how anybody can be made a victim these days.

The blood might be a mess. How bout fixing up a device that would send some volts through his body if he got to close to your stereo. But you have his address so I would get some boys and zip up there

scope it out once first, and mid-morning preferably. most thieves don't have 9-5 jobs. u don't want some neighbor calling the cops. and his boys won't be around then either. remember, he knows where you are, too. so you should think hard about what you want to accomplish and develop a plan. i'm not trying to act like a daddy, just a little advice. i know i'd need it if someone jacked my stuff, because i'd be ready to tear him a new one. hope you get your stuff or at least something of equal value + vig

You can search yourself - go to 'User List' (top right in dark blue). I did a search for 'Hammer' and didn't find anything. So I went on to Google and did the same search - does he look like this?

'Can't touch this' times are hard all over... Hammer has to make a living somehow. Seriously, this is why I can't bring myself to keep a boat on the water or even in my driveway. When you are running a few grand worth of components, boards and accessories you are going to get ripped off. It is not a matter of 'if' it is a matter of 'when'. There is always someone that wants your stuff more than you do. The sad fact is they will keep coming back like cockroaches. If there is nothing to steal they will find another victim to prey on. You need to go old skool and bring a 'jam box'. Keep a low profile for a while and take your boards, etc. with you. And I would stay away from any type of 'traps'. Don't know if you are serious or not but the last thing you need/want is a guy that has been stealing from you to sue you. Remember this guy knows where you are/live... you THINK you may know who he is AND where he is. You don't want to be looking over your shoulder all the time... I'm sorry to hear about all your stuff, I hope this theft ring doesn't migrate to my area of the cities. I will keep an eye out on all the local websites ( www.minnesotawakeboarder.com and www.mnboardsports.com). Good luck getting your stuff back!

Seriously Jay, I know I moved to AZ a couple weeks ago, but I would glady buy a plane ticket back to scare the crap out of this kid. Let me know if Zac gets any of his stuff back even though it is a long shot. This kid almost ruined our 4th of July and needs to get what he has coming. We can always put tacks in his cereal!
