My buddy is trying to get me to move to fort collins with him, so it is either there or San Fran. Anyone know if there is any riding in the Fort Collins area?

Horsetooth Res. http://www.horsetoothreservoir.com/ My wife is from there. Not many places to ride. Cali is undoubtedly better! We live in NorCal now. I'd live in CO if there were more lakes...

I'm rollin up to Horsetooth in just a couple of hours. There are quite a few private lakes but they start at $1,000 and go on up to $2,500+. There is also Boyd Lake in Loveland (15 minutes south of Horsetooth). Fort Collins was rated the #1 place to live in the country, fwiw.

Carter doesn't count... There's dead bodies in that lake! I was boating last year when that guy's 3 year old kid supposedly fell off the tube and drowned, freaked me out and we won't go back now since they never found him. Guess there are others there too that have never been found. Pull up a google map of Fort Collins and it is straight west in the hill where Ft. Collins ends. It's about 1 mile west... Jason horsetooth is only about 25 min from loveland. I live on the east side of Ft. Collins and it takes me about that. Boyd lake in loveland in only 10-15 min from me. not a bad lake at all just gets too busy like horsetooth lots of jet skiers at boyd, but they stay on the north side of the lake. Tommys the malibu dealer is on the north side of Denver doesn't take long to get there. They are A+ super nice. The Supra/moomba dealer (Sidewayz) in Ft. Collins is great for gear and what not. Ya for sure look us up were always looking for other people to hang with on the boat. sorry to steal your thread here Barry, but same goes for you look us up

no worries about stealing the thread. It looks like I am going to head up to San Fran for the summer and then either stay or head out to the Fort Collins area. If any of the Nor Cali riders live close to San Fran id love to get a pull. Thanks for all the info 570 954 1695 strizzo360@hotmail.com
