Going to the lake the Weekend of the 30th-1st?

Hey I was wondering what lakes you all might be going to this weekend. I usually go to lake naciamento but recently its too crowded to even get a campsite and the water has just been rediculous. So with that said I was thinking of going somewhere else. Any suggestions would be nice and maybe a campsite recommendation would be good too?? Anything helps....

Well I was thinking of going to Nacimiento this weekend, maybe I will reconsider..

I will be at lake mead on Saturday in beatiful southern nevada.

San Antonio is usually a little less crowded than Naci. the water level is quite a bit higher as well.

thomas, clearly you haven't been to San Antonio in the last few weeks. I don't know if you like green water but the algae is so bad right now it stained my white boardies. Nac has been crowded, I'd stay away from there at all costs. The water is low & just not worth the crowds.

THATS WHAT I HAVE HEARD ABOUT SAN ANTONIO TOO. IT TURNS STUFF GREEN. NOT GOOD IF YOU ASK ME. ONE GOOD THING THOUGH ABOUT SAN ANTONIO IS THAT YOU CAN CAMP ON THE BEACH NEXT TO YOUR BOAT.
BUT BOARDING EARLY IN THE MORNING AT NACI ISN'T SO BAD BUT STILL NOT THAT GOOD RIGHT NOW.
