Hey all, I've been riding for about 4 years now and am now doing flips and spins and switch tricks, so I need to upgrade my board. I am currently using an O'brien rail 132 with a pair of hyperlite Era bindings(best bindings ever btw). I'm overpowering it, and sliding around, and not getting the pop I'd like.
Last weekend I used my cousin's Hyperlite Belmont honeycomb, and I fell in love with the additional few feet of air I got and the new control and power I had on it.
I'm having troubles finding the right board to match my style of riding and don't wanna spend the money on a new one withought knowing exactly what I want. I'm pulled behind a '92 Mastercraft Prostar 205 that puts up a midsize wake, I use a Pylon and fatsacks and hefty friends for ballast.
I'm looking for a board that will give me tons of hangtime for wake to wake tricks, not necessarily to take me into the flats.
Do I want a continuous or 3 stage rocker? how much rocker? wide board, thin tip/tail?
Any advise or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. sry for the long post
