My dad always gets a condo in Hot Springs for 4th of July. This year we are going to Fairfield Bay. Has any one been on this lake before. I live in Fort Worth Texas so wanted to know if this was a good boarding lake?

This (Greers Ferry)is my home lake along with a couple of others on here. FFB is about a 10-12 min boat ride from where we ride on the Devils Fork arm of the lake. If you guys have a boat you need to come on over. A lot of riding goes on there. Unfortunately I will be in Myrtle Beach for that week. I know a couple of guys that ride over there as well. Good luck and enjoy the lake. It is beautiful.

Greers Ferry lake is IMHO the prettiest lake in AR. And Fairfield Bay is an excellent place to stay while there. There are tons of coves to ride in, and dnice will probably be a better authority on it, but everytime i've been on it it turns to glass before dark. just my .02 but it's a great place to spend the 4th.

Thanks for the info. Everytime I have gone to AR, even on holidays it has been glass. Not a whole lot of wake boat traffic. I love the lakes in AR they are so clean

I am planning a trip to Fairfield Bay next week. It is great to hear the riding is excellent. I agree with Britt, every time I go to AR it is the best riding. I will be in a blue and white Tige from Monday through Thursday 25-28. We will try to head over to the Devils Fork arm.

scott...you will love it there during the week. Zero traffic. Should be glass the whole day unless it is windy then there will still be glass up the arm. ENJOY!
