" i can backroll, frontrole, scarecrow, tantrum, t/s role to revert, amd raily wat should i try next im stuck," well if it was me i would have to probably make an appt with the chiropractor. lol. to be a kid again......no serious, keep trying to perfect each trick in your bag by adding your own twist or style to it like a grab or a tweak. start spinnig and keep riding bro

You need to learn how to spin. Flips are cool and all, but if you can't spin, then your not really that good.

You gotta spin to win.

You can't really measure peoples' time on the water in years; some get out 2 weekends a month and others 3-4 times a week.

And even with that impressive trick list I would love to see a nice big tweaked out backside 180 into the flats over some of those tech inverts.

Oh...He's 16. That explains it. I can definitely remember being able to go riding everyday at 4 after school.
You got skill for sure, so I say next move is to get to a good board school for the rest of the summer and get some Pro help.

I'd spend more time in English class and less time on the lake.

Geez guys... why are some of you being so hard on him?? Mark, no one cares what you smell. Why do you have any reason to doubt him?? You don't need to cover your backside or downplay what he's done just because you're skeptical and arrogant.

...He's a brand-new wakeboarder, and apparently is tearing it up. There's more cynicism and doubt than there is actual advice on here.

Jeff - way to be bro, you're really tearing it up!

if you aren't already, i'd say work on hitting the wake: toeside, switch heel & toeside. grab everything - even if you're just working on wake jumps, throw some grabs in there. Definitely start to try spinning as well - they are a blast once you learn them... like inverts, once you get the hang of your first spin, it opens up a huge new realm of possibilities and tricks.

It sounds like you might be riding with a pretty good crew... if you've already progressed past them, you might want to look around and see if there's a more advanced group of guys you could ride with.

Mostly though, just keep riding as often and as consistently as possible... don't burn yourself out though - be able to have fun riding even if you're having an off day. Teach yourself ways to have fun wakeboarding other than throwing down all the time, you know what I mean?
