Gator Board Bindings

Has anyone had any experience with the 07 Gator or Team bindings? Im thinking about getting a pair but I cant demo em so I was wondering if anyone had anything to say? Thanks

I had the 07 saints and they were hard for me to get into (size 12 feet and XL bindings). I also like a bit more heel hold down than they offered. The foot bed is thick and very padded, but that made them so buoyant that is was hard to get the board under me for a deep water start. Hope that helps.

I have a pair and have ridden them twice, so far. Easy to get into. Not sure if I like the closed-toe, yet. Kind of stiff around the leg, but that will change after a few more rides. Overall, good results and great board control. Previous bindings included HighBacks, Stomp, and BOA system. Not really impressed with BOA. I like laces better.

Karl which ones did you have...the team or the gator? Thanks for your input

BOA SUCKS. broke it twice, fixed it twice....only because of Hyperlites awesome customer service

I am riding in the Gator closed toes. Easy to slide on and off. I have a 13 foot and had to get XXLs. There really supportive, but I have to pull the strings pretty hard to get them as tight as I like, but I have to do that on most boots...

The teams and gators are the same boot.

I'm a 5'4" 105lb girl riding the '07 GB 'Gator' boots. I love them so incredibly much. This is my first summer ever wakeboarding and It's been just about a year since I finished all my physical therapy for the ligaments in both my ankles (sprained them running JV high school track) and these boots have been so supportive! I was really surprised how relaxed my ankles stay and they don't hurt after I ride.

No idea if that made sense but I love those boots.
