Im actually moving to North Carolina next year. Ive been back there and checked out a couple of lakes. If you are near winston salem/greensboaro you should check out high rock lake or hyco. If you are down south near charlotte, its lake norman or lake wylie. But theres alot of lakes all around the state.
Kerr Lake is North Carolina's best kept secret. Because it is so close to Lake Gaston many people forget about Kerr, which is twice the size and much cleaner.
All of the lakes here in NC are drying up. We are having our annual drout. Also, they are constantly paving the boat ramps in the middle of the Summer. Right fumanchoo? Its the weirdest thing. I hear South Carolina has alot of real nice lakes
I live in Clemson SC and on one side of the town is Hartwell and on the other is lake keowee. keowee is a really nice lake and you can always go up to Lake Jocasee. lake Jocasee is crystal clear and only has about 4 houses on it.
Belews Creek. Its got Duke Power Plant on it and uses the water to cool the turbines then puts it back our so the water is reallyyy warm even in early and late riding times
