CWB Transcend 2006 - 138

Hey I just won on E bay a new 2006 CWB Transcend 138. Finally getting around to replacing my old dinasour hyperlite 143 circa year 2000. I also got the CWB Torq bindings ordered. Anybody have experience on this set up. I am 190+ but always felt my old hyper was slow to steer. Hoping I get better handling/pop/and softer landings with the CWB. Anybody got experience to share with the 138 Transcend?

Its a good board and it looks cool too. Is it a platty? What did you pay for it?

The Torq's are good for bindings. The should be the hinge one's since that is what CWB has made over the past two years. The binding also fit a very wide range of foot sizes (L/XL) seems to fit I think 6-12 shoe size but I could be wrong on the shoe size fit but not on a range variety. I currently ride with the Faction and the GF rides the 06 Torq's and she loves them.

yes it is a platty! $260 was the winning bid plus $35 for shipping. It was from a dealer in Tenn. It is a new 2006 leftover from last year and the dealer said they were selling them last summer for $599

Yea, the platinums sell for about $500 for the most recent models. Thats a really good deal.

I think it is funny how certain lingos associated with internet sites seem to stick like...
"just GOOGLE it" (instead of seach it) and in the case of this post, "I WON it on E-BAY" instead of (bought)

I do it too, we all do, but i still think its funny.

The board will arrive sometime next week as will the boat too... 2003 Supra Launch SS another on line purchase. I have been going crazy on the internet lately. Let you all know how it shakes when all the packages arrive. ciao...

idk about buying a boat online...id have to check it out...i looked at a supra online and it looked good on the internet but when we went to go look at it, it had tears in the seats and two of the seat handles were ripped off

Boat was at a 40 year old dealership in TX. They sent me a lot of pics of areas I requested in addition to what they originally posted. It only had 56 hours verified at the engine (not just on meter)They fully serviced including changing the impeller. I don't know it leaves tomorrow so I am hoping for he best. If it looks like Crap I guess I just make them turn around and take it back?

I ride the trasend. the 06 I found to sticky for me. I got the 07 and its looser (a little) but the pop is great the board releases nice and is pretty fast. Overall I rate it a 8
