Getting boat ready to ship??

hey im getting my boat ready to ship to europe

what do i need to do to the boat to get it all ready??

i already have the special salt to absorb the water, then disconect batteries, empty gas take, take bungs out? what else??

it is goin to be roll on roll off..

Is this the Dan Nott? If so I ride with a great admirer of yours in NZ, Pat used to work at quayside and says your the man! When I got my boat shipped here they did all the above plus removed the winterize bungs on the motor it self.

Might consider shrink wrapping it. I would take your platform off and put it inside the boat.

Take the platform off and bring the tower down. It'll take a few bucks off the bill.

Just shipped one to the philippines, take off platform, put down tower and make sure to put alot of padding between where the tower sits and the boat, shrink wrap at least double. Mine was triple wrapped.

thanks, yeah forgot to say i will take platform off and tower down plus i have the origanal white factory cover that it was shipped here with.

when you say shrink wrap it does this have to be done by some one coz i was planing to get some stuff and do it my self to seal the cover to the boat.

to darren - yeah i ride at the quays and used to ride with pat all the time when he was there!!
