It's super easy. Most the maintenance on a boat is easy. Go to you local dealer and get the part. Be prepared to give them you info. Year of boat, powerplant and what your looking for. DD's are wide open. V-drives you'll have to develop a process to get at the pump. I did Magnus's last year and we had to remove the compartment walls and disconnect the the fuel filter or ballest pumps. I dont remember. By disconnect I mean just removing the bracket bolts. This was to get the pump out of the engine compartment. You're a smart guy you can figure it out. Be sure to keep the old impeller as a spare...unless its toast. And be sure to keep it in the boat with the tools you used to get it out. Remember, the first time is always a b!tch. The next time, when you need it in a pinch, you'll know exactly what to do.
