Josh fuel is channel 650 on timewarner/comcast at least around this area. Here to get fuel tv you have to add a sports package that includes about 7 other sports channels.

Yeah, I was impressed with that episode. It was funny to hear him reach down in his bag of tricks to send Sovin back home, but relax a little bit when it was just him and Danny left. I guess everyone that can, loves beating Sovin...

Good episode, seems like a humble dude. I have to say, some of his contest riding leaves a little to be desired but he freerides with a lot more style. That and he freaking has every trick in the book!

Wow, I hadn't seen much of Rusty until that episode (thanks original poster for the tip). What an ambassador to our sport, very humble guy. Realizes how lucky he is to be where he is and represents the sport like a gentleman. Looking forward to seeing more from this guy, and hopefully more up and coming riders with his attituede.

Firsthand episodes usually give these guys just enough exposure to make them look like idiots. I liked Rusty when he mentioned how much he hated Shanghi (i think it was there, maybe Beijing). Either way, he was clearly speaking his mind and not going with some lame, politically correct comment that kept his sponsors' collective noses clean. Nice job Rusty. Your stock went up with me.

Yea Chase I agree, the best was when he said that Beijing was the worst place he had ever seen in his entire life.

If you guys want to see some great boarding by Rusty, get Bent Felix. His main section is good and he has two riding sessions in the Bonus Sections as well. Very good rider, especially since it was only a few years ago when he decided to go pro. I have a few pics of him from the Parks Double or Nothing Contest this past year. I'll post them when I get home...

i got to check out an advance of the firsthand and its pretty rad. Rusty definitely kills it. Most of the show takes place in china on a trip he took. (Message edited by kc700 on February 20, 2007)

Well is sucks to miss it here is Utah! Rusty is solid with his riding and has a great head on his shoulders (it seems like). If you find the flick anywhere else I would like to hit it up. Thanks for the post's and Bryd "Good looking out!"

I'm kind of sick of hearing people say "that's so gay" because some guys think Rusty is awesome. I'm actually not a huge Rusty fan but (not that I dislike him or anything) I think it is very cool what he represents. He's not a spoiled kid that grew up on a lake waterskiing/wakeboarding all the time. He's someone that understands what it takes to be a really focused athlete. I could go on and on but he basically represents what many average wakeboarders wish they could be and makes it look like it might be possible (or might have been possible). Is it really that wrong for a guy to think Rusty's cool? Respecting someone's talent, dedication, and how they act in the spotlight is perfectly normal imo. I feel bad for the homophobic dudes who have to call others out and can't just enjoy life a little more.

Thanks for the compliments on the shots. Considering the weather conditions, they turned out pretty good... Anyway, Rusty is a hard working and focused athlete, and he is proof that hard work pays off. Like him or not you have to respect him and his work ethic. If not, then your loss...

Ya what's there not to like, he is one of the hardest working and best riders in our sport, not to mention as cool as it gets!! I have only had the pleasure of talking to him a couple times at different comps and he has always been very humble and cool to everyone!!!
