just picked up a set of limited edition watsons. the beds are heatmouldable just like the new ronix. What temperature do i need to heat them without melting?
The LF liners are nothing like the Ronix liners. The LF boots will be molded over time. I believe it uses a different kind of foam. You might mess them up by trying to heat the liners.
yeah i had last years watsons, and they formed over time. was hoping to speed the process. When i was talking to chad sharpe he said you just heat the ronix binding to 70 then place your feet in.
for ronix boots the intuwishon(wronge speeling) we got for the boot has a factory setting at 119...you put the boats on for like 5-7 minets then the stand up and keep there feet in for about 5-10
They intentionally designed the inserts to be constantly changing, reasoning that "the more unique situations you have to adapt to as a rider, the better you will become".
Sean, if I were you, I would sell my boat and buy some education. Honestly.
I just had my ronix cells molded at the LA boat show... I was told by the dealer they heated them up to 140 F. I wore a thin cotton sock, It was definately uncomfortable for the first minute... but i dont think it was really 140. 120 sounds about right.
ha i dont care it got the ponit across...yeah heres what you do you try the bindings on and you want you toes to barely be touching the frount, then you put what is called a toe cap on your toes and put a silk sock on and we heat the boots up for u then you put them back on and after about 10 you take them off and take the sock and toe cap off and put them back on to make sure they molded... sorry about spelling words i didnt know i would be graded on spelling

I have the scouts and I just ran hot bath water in them for about 3 minutes, put them on for about 5 and tempered them back with cold water. (I don't know if the cold water helps. Are there any chemists in the house?).
It works great. We used to do this in the Ski-tec Intuition Liners.
I wasn't going to mess with it and just let the break over time, but I was bored one evening.
