I bought our Centurion Concourse in 01. After the first year the engine kept frying Serpentine Belts. At least 7 in the last 4 years. The engine was maintenced every 80 hours, so it was anything we didnt do.

Last September, an annoumous Boat Mech said. Change the sea water pump, Mecury made a defective pump.
We changed it. Now we have no more problems. (I kept the old pump)
Has anyone else had this problem.

have you talked to skidim about it? They sell the pump and might know the serial numbers to the bad batch of pumps..Usually its only two things to fry a belt miss alignment or an acc is frozen.
