Any head room under Illusion tower?

Headroom under the illusion tower already seems like an issue. I know adding speakers will only make the problem worse. It seems, to me at least, like the factory mount location will be a little bit more out of the way than speakers hanging from the tow bar. I'd like to hear some feedback and personal experience on the two different possible mount locations. Any comments are appreciated.

very rarely do we hit our head with the tower speakers. usually only the driver once in awhile.

I don't know much about the NVS speakers. Do you mount them in the factory location? What diameter are they?

The illusion is pre wierd and drilled for speakers in the corners rather than across the back bar. And the bimini mounts across the top. I am 6'2" and I do make contact but compared to most towers where the bimini mounts under the tower it has a lot of head room. At least in my opinion.

Illusion X with Addictions- they do mount in the factory spot in the corners, I have never had anyone complain about the passenger side, and on the driver side I occasionally "notice" the speaker there, but I have never hit it hard enough to care. The NVS speakers are awesome. http://www.nvs1.net/
Duane is very helpful and I have absolutely no regrets with the addictions. I believe they are 10" diameter. I can post a picture tonight if you want...
