Through the years, companies have come and gone. Some have stayed longer than others while others have just been forgotten. Some have left our industry and some have left all industries. What are some names that come to mind when you think of our fallen brothers...Let's take a moment to remember. Digit 3, Mantra, Spoon...(i can think of more, just leavin the door open.)

"Iconn" heh, I've got one! my neighbor was working a job at this guys house and the guy had dozens of their boards laying around. he used to work for them he said. he gave him one and then he turned around and gave it to me. lol. went down to wileys and had them slap on some double ups and fins for my wife. it's actually not a bad little board. super light.

My first board was a WakeTech. The third time I rode it, the lamination peeled like a banana. I took it back and got a DU Nelson 138. The Nelson is hinging in my 5 yr old son's room. My hoe the times have changed in only 10 years....

BadAss - The used to sell Astrodeck, it was great stuff. Krown - They tried to come back, not sure what happend though. Toyota boats - bad timing, they came in with ski boats when the world had switched to wakeboarding. Cobalt inboard boats - This was the old Hydrodyne hull i think. Ten Foot Pole - I still see a few of the Ten Foot Towers on boats once in a while. Hippo automatic ballast systems T3 Towers - remember when Jim Jones? Neptune boards. FWT Fresh Water Traction - I still have a set of these. FM Free Motion - Last time i saw one it was in sporting goods superstore. Oshima Gun - Wake Clothing Lonestar wakeboard camp Wakecentral.com C&C Creations board racks

I still remember riding the WakeTech Magic Air and working towards saving up enough money to buy the FullTilt Megaman. I saw the Megaman in a wakeboard magazine at the time and wanted it so badly. I never did get one. I ended up with an O'Brien instead. And don't forget Hyperlite. They were great until all their pros left. (Oops, I need to wait a few years before posting that one. )

What about the Original "WakeList" it was before wakeworld.com and wakeboarder.com. Nothing but an E-Mail list dedicated to wakeboarding, it was sweet and the conversations seemed a little more adult then most of what goes on now-a-days. jjakober

I can't believe somebody else said Oshima Gun, now that's obscure! How about Insane wakeboards, the team whose goal was to sign the hottest female riders. Oh yeah and how about (FWT) Fresh Water Traction? I still have some of those things, right next to my Core wakeboard. (Message edited by dococ on August 17, 2006)

JJ im sure you know that the wakelistr ,BTW i was on that, was run and created by Pat M the same guy who now runs wakeboarder.com so its not dead its just evolved IMO it was the one place that single handedly brought together the first events and groups of wakeboarders that led us to becoming communities..

BROS! Because some of you listed off this stuff... messer's the man, and he still judges wakeskate comps... Epic shoes are obscure...my favorite companies I'm interested in one way or another would include NBN, thruster, wake tech, FM, K2, Sano, rusty wakeboards, solbound, wake ski, surf alley, fresh water traction, blah blah blah...EDIT: ok, we'll add amuzement technologies, in honor of scott jobe and his entrepreneueral spirit. but some oldie moldies would be like olson, those stewart barton boards, and lance brugg had some company that I wanted a board from (not back then, now), but I can't remember the name anymore. I still have 2 Wake Tech Flight 69 boards that we use as guest boards on my boat. 1 is a 143 guys board and the other 134 chicks board. Talk about dinosaur. I remember buying the 143 with the Gravity Pro bindings which were top of the line at the time. Now I can just laugh about them.

Maybe this is too far in the past, but does anyone remember the name of that little wooden slalom ski that was about 2 feet long? BTW, this is a quiz. Someone resently paid $162.50 and old one of these on eBay.
