Which trick has caused you the most grief and pain, literally, since you started riding? Just curious to see if there is a similarity. For me, it has been the HS 3. After finally landing the trick a few times this weekend, I ended up with another concussion on my last attempt.

Heel Side 5. Stitches in my chin, busted up ankle, and countless face plants. How did you fall to get the concussion? Under rotate?

J-Rod, Apparently, I made the rotation fine, but came up a little short and caught the nose of the board on the second wake. At least this is what the guys on the boat tell me. The last thing I remember is spinning and then being back on the boat.

TS 3's gave me a much bigger fit than the HS. Once I got those dialed, I started to grab them and....well... http://www.midwestmilitia.net/ryanc/hyptonic_films_neil_fall.wmv

Bummmer Tim. I got worked so many times on a backroll that I flushed it completely. Spins never caused me that much trouble. But I've worn it on those a few times. Mostly over rotating TS 3's. So far I've chalked up two good concussions. 1 TS backroll and 1 HS backroll. I've gotten my bell rung a million times, but those two were the "don't remember where I'm at, how I got there" kind of bell ringers.

five plus years ago spins used to be easier ,hs three then the ts three then a wrapped blind three came before my first invert .. then three years ago i starting taken painful crashes on my spins and slowly backed off doing them and have learned 4 inverts since and havent even attempted a true spin in over a year.. so yes spinning sucks for me they are more painful then ANY invert spill ive taken..they are so in my head that even if i try one off a roller ,in the flats,or one wake tiny ones i get worked !

my first raley attempts were the most brutal for me. starting off on cable and having no-one to teach you how to do it, was a real painful trial and error process. but we eventually got it after countless egging on by people who love to watch pain and of course concusions, dislocated shoulders and a knee right to the eye.

hs 3's are my arch nemesis trick. One day I would have them and the next day it would be gone. Only knocked myself out once on those though.

i used to bust the raleys all day long til I caught my toe edge comin down. It knock me out and when I woke up i was being pulled out by two people. I didnt know where i was or how I got there. Haven't tried a raley since...:0 On a better note, i have been working on the switch heelside roll to revert for a long time. AKA halfcab roll. I landed it one time and the rest have been wipeouts. Would like to stick this at least one more time.

haha Isaac I have been doing raleys for years and got beat up on that one also. I learned it behind a 78 master craft no pole no weight oh god that was pain. Well for some reason last month I missed the pop on one and took one for the team forgot how much pain they can give ya. As for the trick that drives me nuts and kicked my a$$ is whirly birds I HATE THAT THING.

360's made me buy a helmet. Backroll made me buy a knee brace. Toe side 180 coming up short got me 3 months of physical therapy on my back . I just want to go W2W again.

one time i crashed on a raley years ago, about one year after i mastered it. i caught my toe edge on the landing, my feet came out or the boots immediately, before my face even hit the water. when i did hit the water i was bent in half backwards, with my feet over my head. i felt like i got hit in the face by a speedin semi truck. hahaha.

I wonder who takes a worse beating. A boxer or a wakeboarder. Ha, ha. I've been rocked so many times I can't even count. Concussions, knees to chin, stitches, arms through handle, wrapped around sliders, the list goes on.... And yet I still don't think twice if I get the chance to strap up. We're all sick.

Tim, in my opinion, HS 3s are way easier when taken into the flats. I HATE casing

J-Rod, I too know the troubles of the HS 5. Somedays I'll boost it big into the flats and other days I'll be a mess for like 8 tries (ask Shawn Wilson he say an off day once). Last time out I stomped it big, that felt so nice. I'm also scared of HS Fronts as they broke my ankle.

Everybody crashes, everybody gets hurt somehow, everybody gets up and tries again and again, but... when you finally land your"big trick" whether it is a TS180 or a Crow Mobe it makes all the pain and frustration worth while. Go big or stay at the dock!

Midwesty, I don't think people get hurt on HS 360's I think it's the 290's that create much pain.

HS 360, nothing too serious, just a lot of bumps and bruises.
