hey ive been lurking around this site for a while now and just wondering if anyone could help me out. Im looking at the 2005 liquid force team 143 i weigh 160-170 and im 6'3 should this board be cool or should i look at the 139 team.(they only have the 143 on wakeside for sale)
i am 180lbs and 6'2 I ride the team 139, It is just right, i stepted up to this board from a motive 134, so go for the 139!! oh and check other places besdies wakeside, try buywake.com boardersparadise.com are a few of my favorites
yeah you should go with the 143 imo. board size is more about height than weight. im 6'1" and 165 lbs and ride a 140 shane which is a much wider board than the team.
also the 143 will give you about an inch wider stance and let you lower your center of gravity. both boards will work well. it is just depends on what you like.
Matt, Went from 140 motive to the 05 143 Team last year. Personally I love the board. Good pop and soft landings. Had to go with a shorter set of fins though. Pulled the short ones of my daughters cracked balance 35. Made a huge difference.
thaks guys well im ordering the 143 team today from wakeside for 200 so i figure i cant go wrong for the price. thanks for the reply i just needed that extra confidence on the 143 before i ordered it. finally my own board
