One of my winter projects is to re-powdercoat my Flight Control Tower on my SAN. I took it off and took it down to a local p/c shop and they quoted me $350...Does that sound about right for the Bay Area? I searched thru old posts and people sounded like they were getting quotes for $100-$150, but they did not list where. Can anybody recommend a decent shop...Thanks

If your willing to drive to the central valley, try B&C painting solutions in French camp. The GM there is a boarder. Name is Gary. (209)982-0422 Or try Eagle painting in Tracy. Both good Shops and should be reasonable.

you could try Nor Cal Powder Coating in Ukiah. You can request a quote thru their website or get their contact info here: http://www.ncpci.com/

Good luck!

US Powder coating is the place where WCCC brings their towers for PCing. I'd try there. I know what they were paying so, $200 would be a good deal.

While you're at it you might as well PC your flight clips as well. I'm in the process of PCing my flight clips, rear vent pieces and custom flight clip spacers.
