I grew up near Buffalo, but was not into wakeboarding then. Is wakeboarding getting bigger back there? I would be interested in helping in any way, so keep me posted. I have a few friends in the industry that maybe I could get to help with sponsership. Somewhere off Grand Island migth work (Beaver Islan State Park, Niagra river). I am sure there are good areas to ride on the river. There is also lake Erie, but that could be sketchy. You have small lakes nearby, like Lime Lake, Canesuis Lake, and some others I have forgeotten.

Hey

You are looking to hold a wakeboarding event?

The two best places I can think of are the lower Niagara near lewiston. They have a ski club called the Neptune ski club, and maybe even Sunset Bay which is a beach off of Lake Erie that is pretty smooth from my experiences.

We also have a bunch of lakes to add to the list above Cuba Lake, Chautauqua Lake, Rushford Lake, Silver Lake. Also the finger lakes which starts with Conesus and moves eastward. All are very public and will probably be hard to hold a nice event at.

May I ask how this all came about?
