I just got a new Obrien Demented 136 since my old board was a Hyperlite Charge 147 which I bought in 99(didnt really help my proggession since I'm 150lbs.) I was wondering if there is any break in period that I have to do with a new board? Should I go ride it around for a while without doing any jumping or can I just bring it out and start where I left off on my old board?

there is a 10 hour break in period, where if you exceed the spin cycle specified within the specifications the angle of the dangle will (technically) never align and you wont have an axis to spin on so stay within the specifications and never over extend your dangle...i could be mistaken about this...
go ride it

I sleep with my new boards and talk to it about what I expect from it and what it expects from me the night before riding them.
