Landed My First 180 Today and......

I landed my first 180 toady. I tried about 10-15 times and never got it. I think I was stoping when I landed or got scared in the air and I slid out on my butt. I finally gave up and that ride. Next ride I tried it and nailed it the first time. It felt really good, I barely even thought about the spin, just the landing an keeping on with the edge.

The best part was that me and my friend were messing with the burst mode on my camera today and he got some really good pictures. I got inspired by the sequence post the other day and made this.

landings will be easier and more controlled if you keep both hands on the handle and if you keep the handle closer to your hips.

try holding on with only the other hand, it will make it soo much easier

Hey guys thanks for the comments. I was trying heel side first, but could never stick the landing either. I will be working on that this weekend. I still haven't master the toeside yet though.

Keep riding and you can continue to progress. I just landed my first ts front roll the other day at the age of 35 and after 11 years of riding.

Sticking a new trick is a great feeling! I just landed my first HS backroll last Friday and did it three times in a row last night.

HS and TS 180's are my next challenge!
