I just got the production photos in the mail from Malibu. The boat just got to the dealership but I haven't taken possession of it yet. Here are the pictures I have so far (just what the factory does). This is a great feature that Malibu does. What a nice touch.

Boat is a 2007 Malibu vRide. Black and Tan. Lots of options including 340 monsoon, upgraded stereo with sub/4 tower speakers and 2 board racks. heater, 3 hard tank ballast system and free floating wedge.

They also included a bunch of pics of the build process which weren't my boat. Here are just mine for now. (Images shrunk to fit wakeworld guidelines)

Why did you put a 340 in a Vride

Sweet pics. Really captures the whole process. C, he probably put a 340 in a Vride for the same reason that Malibu offered it in the 2003/2004 VLX -- to get a good hole shot when the boat is slammed.

Why would you not? Unless you were going with the HH!

Oh yeah, sweet ride!

Someone is already wearing shoes in the new ride. How lame is that.

I put the 340 in for 2 reasons. We usually have at least 8 people in the boat and filled tanks. My last boat was a supra and had a 320. Worked fine, but combine a better hole shot with a little better resale, and why not. It was a $1500 upgrade I believe (could be a little off on that).

Rich is right. I let me dealer know from the beginning that I wanted pics. When I knew the boat was done, I emailed malibu with the order number and they mailed me the cd.

What are the two large gas lines that go to the fuel tank? Does it have two fuel fills?

I'm sure they have to wear shoes due to OSHA Regulations. But they are probably only worn in the shop. Nice boat!!
