Old ones are great, new ones are better. The AWD is a major plus for that alone it should be bought. Take the time to compare with the Escalade and enjoy whatever you get.

Art I did check out the Escalade and I loved it, but a little spendy for me. Im currently trying to negotiate a good deal with my dealer. My only options are sunroof and 20's and were at about 46, mspr is 51,500 ish. Do you think thats good? There are so many Denali's in inventory and with the gas prices I can't see them moving too fast.

shoot me over a PM with the VIN and your Zip code. I'll pull invoice and incentives for ya, price doesn't sound too bad though.

My cousin has one, and i spent some time in it this weekend. It was amazing. I couldnt believe how quick it was (he has a lead foot), plus it was almost silent at highway speed.

Price sounds pretty good. I always take a look at the price quoted on CarsDirect.com and tell people to be under that price by $1K if you want to know you got a "deal".

We have an 06 Denali and our friends just bought an 07. They got one with a 4" lift and Dubs. Both are awesome vehicles. They have moor then enough power to tow and the ride is super smooth with the air ride in the back. I also have a 99 GMC Burb with 100K miles. Knock on wood but I have never had any problems with it. Wadd$

I bought an 07 last may, and its the best tow vehicle so far I have ever driven. Before this I had a 02 denali which was good, but it got alot better. In the tow/haul mode on the new denali, it actually downshifts when puting on the brake to help stop. The new 6 speed tranny is alot better as well. You'll love it.

I looked at Denali but GM had some smokin lease promo for the 07 Escalade. Navi screen a little bigger, little more wood trim. The reverse camera makes hookin up the boat a breeze!!

Love my 07. We tow our boat long distances, over mountains to get to water and its like the boat isn't even behind us. Plus the back up camera, the nav, the upgrades to the 07 interior is amazing. We have had our about 9 months, no problems at all.

Love my 05 Denali, and Love my 06 Yukon(with off road package)! Cant convince me that there is anything better if you own a boat and hit the snow in the winter. CANT BE BEAT! Power, Strength, Comfort, Looks, Safety, Affordability, Reliability, Class, & NO SAGGY BUTT when towing! You gotta love it.

My '07 Denali suprises me all the time. Like the other day when I hooked up the trailer and I heard what sounded like an air compressor going...DAMN...it was auto-leveling the rear end. I honestly didn't even know it had that option, what a TRIP!!! I had an '05 HUMMER H2 and the Denali totally blows it away in power, comfort, luxury options, etc. I loved my H2, but the Denali is just plain SICK!

The Hummer is a 3/4 ton drive train isn't it? That's why it's so heavy?

Curb weight of H2 is around 6400 vs. 5600 for denali plus H2 only gets 325hp vs 380ish for denali. H2 should suck wind in comparison to Denali.

Tyler, I like your Yellow H2, it's the same color as my old H2, ha ha! Don't get me wrong, the H2 is a bad ass machine, and I loved the way it looked, the way it drove, and most everything in between. The Denali isn't better than the H2, it's just different. I personally get way more enjoyment out of driving my Denali than I got out of driving my H2. But, again, both vehicles kick serious ass!

This ones just modded A LOT so it really cant be compared to a stock H2 at all. I agree I wouldn't want to drive an H2 if it had to stay stock they'd be to sluggish.

Anyone know the difference between 2007 Tahoe, Slade, and Denali? Something that one offers that the other doesn't? I know it goes Tahoe, Denali, then Slade as far as price, options, quality but it seems like the Tahoe and Denali aren't too far behind in options but WAY better in price. Opinions?

Horsepower is a consideration. Escalade has the most, then Denali then Tahoe. Besides the obvious styling, we felt the Denali was a good compromise.

I know the Escalade runs on Premium. At least the last time I checked. IMO, if you don't mind spending more money on gas get the Escalade. Otherwise I would go with a Denali, Tahoe/Yukon. Just my opinion.
