alright, so we want to build a rail for our lake that is portable. the lake has restrictions against any type of rail that is "grounded" if you will...so thus we need to make it portable. We already have the rails, 24ft long, about 2 ft wide..the only answer we can come up with to make this rail "portable" is to use the big 55 gallon drums and somehow attatch the rail to the drums to keep it afloat, we figure if we attatch aroud 10 or 15 cinderblocks to anker the drums down, and be able to hit the rail. my question is, what do you guys think the best method would be to attach the rail to the actual drum..and then keeping that solid enough to hold up in the elements..keep in mind we would like to keep this rail moveable..if this idea is not possible or if you guys have any other ideas of floating/portable rails, please...HELP! thanks dudes, peace.
These pictures are from our first annual "hay bale rail jam" the rail being used for our "port-a-rail" hah, is the one on the left...appreciate any help, thanks.
