IM ready to start riding but the temp is around 65-72 water and 70-77 air. Do i need a wet suit or spring suit or heater shirt? I would think it to be to cold to ride with just shorts and no shirt. This is my first year riding this early as I just got my boat and board last summer.

heater shirt is probably the most you'll need. it all depends on your tolerance level though.

Everyone is different. If you can tolerate the cold, you will be fine. If you have a heater shirt, you will be more comfortable and be able to go longer than if you dont, but at that temp, a full wet suit is not needed, IMO.

I would just trunk it at those temps but like everyone said it depends on what you can tolerate.

I'd kill for those kinds of temps right about now. Luckily the ice on the lake should start to break up soon

I've been riding in Arkansas for the past two weeks. Sometimes we have a drysuit, sometimes not-depends on if the sun it out at the time. Water is low 50s and air is 65-75 depending on the day.

I think I'm going out this weekend if I get all my work done for the week. I may go out Friday too, who knows. Brrr. It'll be chilly I'm sure, but I have to get my fix in.
