Very sharp looking boat Kevin. I think the color scheme does a great job showing the lines of that thing. (Message edited by rallyart on March 08, 2007)

Thanks Art. I agree I think the lines of this boat is enough with just a little detail. Up close the carbon fiber in the tower and scoops look great.

Not to offend anyone, but I love the boards from the 90s next to the brand new 2007 boat.

Hey Kevin- I looked all over your boat on Wednesday night and bs'd with their sales guy for what must have been an hour. I was blown away with all the detail inside the boat. They really went after it and the idea that each comes completely loaded is cool. The tower is different but all the carbon work they do really sets it apart. Congrats! What's the wake like??

Very nice looking boat! Black boats always look great. What's going on with the rear seats and hatches? Does all that lift up to make the engine more accessible? If so, I think that's an awesome idea.

Yes it lifts in about a minute to give you complete access to the motor and trany. Thanks you guys for all the positive feedback, Im really excited to get back on the water. The wake is awsome. Not only for wakebording but skiing when at about 34-36 mph (at least for a v-drive that is).

wow, i'm not bashing... i'm asking... I thought that they were ... I'm sorry. The reason I realized that it wasnt was because you had a cool engine compartment that lifted. My bad. Very VERY hot boat.

Fatsac- It will come back to Merced on Sunday after the show and then lake tested Monday adjustments made Tuesday and delivery on Wed. Saturday the 17th a friend or two will be on the water starting the break in. Thinking we'll drop it in at Village West in Stockton and head to Sac and then swing around after lunch and head back. If that will work for you let me know. I'm eager to hear the boat as well.

I have never seen separate port and starboard marker lights on a wake boat. Very cool to see someone doing something different.

Mastercraft have seperate lights, just had to throw that in there lol. I'm really liking this boat though, it looks 100 times better than the other ones i saw. They should stick to these graphics and not the flames. I live how the rear opens up to acces all the engine stuff.

Kevin/Clayton, The owner of Wakecraft also founded Flightcraft back in the 80's, it was in Australia not Canada, Malibu bought Flightcraft. I don't believe Clayton's post was a bash, simply an inquiry. I was quite impressed with the Wakecraft boat when I saw it at the Pleasanton show with some reservation for the "snakebite" graphics. Kevin, Your boat looks great, I would like to check it out sometime. Mikeski

I agree Mikeski the other graphics just werent my style but the other guys like it so to each their own. In the past people have said that the Wakecraft was a "knock off" of Malibu so Im a little sensative. Well we boat in the Delta as well as McClure, Don Pedro etc...So anytime just send me an email I'd be happy to show you the boat. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it.

great looking boat. i really like these. Can't wait to see one i person, but it will probably be 2009 before one drifts over texas. the pop-up engine hatch is genius. seems like they've really thought it out. post some pics of interior and wake when you get a chance.

Jay and Clayton, there are lots of Malibu's in Canada. More of them are not related to the ski boats than are. Two different companies. The Canadian Malibu makes a wake boat called Liquid Ride. Kevin, I still like your boat's looks. (Not trying to hijack). How big is the tower mounted bimini when you add in the area of the tower top?

Interesting info. Its hard to tell but its about half the length of the bimini. I'll look closer tomorrow when I see it. I do like how far forward it comes it should block a lot of sun.

Mikeski FYI Flightcraft actually started in 69 and then sold to Alkima in 89 I believe. Not trying to be picky just FYI.

Can't wait to see pics of your boat on the water!!! I don't want to be rude but how much do these boats generally run. Do they run in the 50-60k?

I was able to get it at the intro price of 50k flat. What you see is what you get. Shower, heater, 10 spkr system with sub and amps, you name it its got it. However I think now they are going for just under 60k (includes the trailer and wheels that are in the pictures). Also you get to design the gel graphic to your liking up to 4 colors I think. Same with the interior.

kevin- your right its not even close to a bu..just the same price tag with half the support..for the kind of money you just wated you are would have been better off buying a craft...seriously...but hey its your money not mine..i do admit it looks ok..hope you have no problems and your local"dealer" can help you out when its not running or something breaks...love to see the resale value........i do remember what happened to flightcraft(malibu)..decent barefoot boats at the time...compare those to a craft barefooter , same year.....

I agree, Ryan you got no room to slam in a 13 year boat no matter what it is. Have you even sen a wakecraft?? I have, there not bad. Not for me styling wise, but a pretty nice rig. I take one over two 1994 ski nautique. A 94 Ski Natique has a really nice wake, for slalom. (Message edited by jeff359 on March 11, 2007)

I was at the show and think the boat was sick, but it is way to small. It looks like a "PWC" with a tower. I mean the front is just big enuff for one of your boys, and maybe a skinny chick. Dont get me wrong the boat has a ton of options stock, but can i get a boat over 20ft for like 55,000.00
