So with the weather here in iowa being just Awsome, me and a few buddies decided to get a little rail jam going... So with the help of red bull and a little cash out of our pockets we got to throw a great event even tho the weather wasnt very great... 30 degrees over 40 mph wind gusts 15 degree windchill, snow, rain, sleet, thunder, lightning, pretty much anything that could go wrong weather wise did! but being from the great state of iowa we just bared down and went with it.... here are some pics from the day we put it up with more to come when i get em off my camera....
the pools wernt to bad the start one was between 8-12 inches and the landing pool was like waist deep.... Yes it was damn cold but it was sooo worth it!!!!
Gotta love your passion...but that rail looks a little dangerous with the bracing for the legs sticking so far out. Hope no one tried to take out the bracing with a leg or a rib!!!
Probably the most fun I've ever had. Ranks up there with the funnest things we've ever done, and also the dumbest thing we've ever done. I guess when everything is ice and there is no lake, make a lake! It's just crazy that we did it on the one day out of the year that mother nature threw her absolute worse at us! Way too fun! The memories will definately last a lifetime!
In the picture just below the stack of hay bails, look into the light on top of the Red Bull truck and look at how sideways the wind is blowing the snow, sleet, hail, ice...whatever! Hahaha! Way too fun!
