Yes, we're working with those guys to bring you a little Russian flava to the WakeWorld you know and love, while some of our content will get a Russian translation and be spread to those that speak the language. Should be a fun ride!

Maybe what Boris means is that most Russians, given an option, wouldn't drink Stoli

I know this isn't the find/be 3rd forum . . . but I just moved to Baku, Azerbaijan. Is there anyone out here who I could ride with? The thought of not riding this summer scares me.

So you are still stick to that strictly boat-wakeboardig policy. Go cable! Go in EU! Otherwise 10 years from now, when you'll be watching your boat movies, your children will call you "retro", while they're going to the cable :0 (joke of course, but think about it )

Sorry, I seriously just stepped off the plane and I don't know squat about the region. Where is EU? I've never cabled before because they didn't have a park where I lived, but I'm ready to try. So where is this cable park that you speak of?

EU is the European Union. I live there. In EU cable wakeboarding is way more popular than boat wakeboarding. There are like 100 cableways, 60 of which in Germany. The bad thing about it is the relatively short season - it starts in mid-late April and ends in late October. Right now it is snowing heavily in front of my house. Thats why I snowboard during the winter. The most modern cableway now is located in CamSur in the Philippines and most of the cable pros are now there. It is hot there during the winter in Europe. Find "Statement", movie shot entirely on that cableway, and see what we are talking about.

Is there any chance that there's a park that I can go to (near Baku) on a one day trip? I have to work 6 days/week, so my boarding will be limited to Sunday.

Baku: No way. The nearest cable wakeboard park is in Israel, which is, I believe, 1500 - 2000 kilometers from there.
