Good morning everyone. I just thought I'd share my joy. I finally ditched my I/O Maxum (nice boat) and bought an '04 Supra 22SSV. I only now feel as if I'm a part of the legit WW community. Anyway, here's a pic or two. Thanks for sharing in my excitement. Good day.

I have a question for the Supra owners. It looks, as the boats sit on trailers, that the front of the boat drops down.

1) Is this an optical illusion?
2) If not, does the boat take water over the front easily if you put weight up there?

Thanks,

Robb

erick, congrats. you will love it.

i have a 05 ssv 22 and it has been a great boat.

robb, the decks are formed that way so no it is not a optical illusion. I have yet to ever take water over the front even when all 3 bags are loaded.

robb, the bow does sit low, and unlike insuranceman I have taken water over the bow a couple of times (both times the boat was full ballast and 8-10 people). One of those days I acutally had water come over the gunwhale. Boat turned off, waiting for a rider to get ready and a heavily weighted malibu vlx drove past us. we dumped all ballast after that:-(

I have an 04 as well.

Robb, yes it will take water over the nose like many other boats with lots weight up there. Have to be careful.

Robb, Adam just has a lot more friends than i, so mine is not near as weighted as his. lol

Very nice, welcome to the family. I had a SSV last year, and now have a 21V. You'll love it.

Eric,

Change that profile! A boat that sweet needs to be part of who you are. Now it's time to load it up with lots of ballast. We're running about 1700#'s and love the wake. Some of these other 22SSV owners load their's up with even more. Enjoy! We love ours...

Hey guys, thanks for the posts. Kevin from Gonnasons, I noticed a few fine cracks where the tower attaches to the boat. Is this normal? I'll give you a call later if I don't hear from you. Thanks, Erick.

ps, profile changed
